My parents tell me that this minute was the most amazing minute ever- that they had been waiting for me for longer than I could imagine. I believe them.
On June 25th my Mom and Dad headed to the hospital around midnight... they were almost sent home...luckily they weren't because I wanted out. Well, ok, it took longer than my mom expected....
Fast forward a year. Yes, it really has been a year, even though everyone keeps telling me it doesn't seem like it!
My Mommy & Daddy woke me up by throwing balloons in my crib. They are so silly!
It was only 7:30 but I had a feeling I was going to love my birthday!
Daddy had to go to work and that made me a little sad but then Mommy got me all dressed and we went on a trip to Plumpton Park Zoo.
We saw duckies, they were my favorite...
And goats. I liked them too.
I did NOT like the llama...because it sneezed and scared me!
But there were all these little kids
and I did like them, and they seemed to like the llamas...which I thought was kind of weird.
Zebras are Wawa's favorite, and I liked them too...except Mom can't tell me what sound they make and I don't know either---do you?
Last stop to see Jimmy the friendly giraffe, he came right over and I held mom really tight because I thought maybe he could scoop me up with that long neck of his.
After a nice family dinner it was time for a birthday bath, then snuggle time with Daddy and bed time at last!
Oh and guess what, even though my birthDAY is over...I get to have a party on Saturday and that means I get to celebrate all over again!
Until next time
